A page of history, between old mill, oppidum, Abbey School, Canal du Midi and the Rigole.
At the foot of the Montagne Noire, fed by Sor river, Moulin du Chapitre is an old flour mill. Its owners open their doors to you, for a stay in a gîte or a bed and breakfast with a pleasant change of scenery. You will be welcomed in an atmosphere of creativity, a stone’s throw from the lake of St Ferréol, the Riquet gully, the Sources du Canal du Midi! Sorèze and the Abbaye Ecole, the Dom Robert museum, Durfort the village of Le Cuivre, the bastide of Revel are just there, you can almost get there on foot. Raise your head, you will see the oppidum of Berniquaut, it has always attracted the eyes and lives; it is very much appreciated nowadays by many walkers. There are three guest rooms in the mill, one of which is a family room, each with its own private bathroom. Two rooms on the ground floor, with independent access, for two people (a double bed in one room, two single beds in the other). The third room is on the first floor, family room. Living room with piano. Living room with equipped kitchenette reserved for guests. Garden furniture, table football, table tennis, common portico, to be shared also with the holidaymakers in the gîte. In the summer, convivial breakfast on the terrace on the edge of the millstream, otherwise in the large dining room, the former “salle du blutoir”!
