In “The Award”, we plunge into the world of stars and VIPs and witness a special ceremony in which we guess at the complexity of the protagonists. Behind the rhetoric, the make-up and the photographs, egocentricity, insecurity, hypocrisy, jealousy and fear shine through, reminding us that these icons are “normal” people, human beings with their flaws and talents. From the French Césars to the Belgian Magritte, everyone knows the rules of these ceremonies.
The 9 artists in “The Award” defend the large format in contemporary circus and the eloquence emanating from a large group of artists.
