Inspired by the song “Merbouha”, written and composed as a tribute to a Kabyle grandmother, this show is about intergenerational cultural transmission. Its colorful poetic tableaux illustrate short stories told to music or in movement, with traditional songs and compositions enriched by testimonials collected in schools and EHPAD.
Musicians, singers and storytellers, the worlds of Sabrina Kadri and Nathalie Martinez are enchanting and varied, thanks to a wide range of instruments and inspirations: cello, violin, ukulele, cajon, derbouka, castanets, looper…
