CARCASSONNE
A loyal attendee of the Carcassonne Festival, Julien Doré returns to the Théâtre Jean-Deschamps for a new concert where he will once again enchant the audience in an intimate and vibrant atmosphere, typical of his live performances.
Following the phenomenal “aimée tour” and his extraordinary show that captivated over 600,000 spectators through dozens of sold-out concerts in zeniths and arenas, Julien Doré announces his grand return to the stage with a brand new show, driven by the release of his sixth studio album “Imposteur.” Seventeen years ago, Julien won the Nouvelle Star 2007. Revisiting other people’s songs and transforming their approach was profoundly new for the time. “Imposteur” is a loop closed almost 20 years later; has the barrette rusted in this grown-out hair, in an era that can no longer distinguish the fake from the real, the beautiful from the ugly, imposture from legitimacy? From “Cuitas les bananas” to “Mourir sur scène,” passing through “Toutes les femmes de ta vie,” “Un homme heureux,” or “Moi Lolita,” the approach is the same: a return to the future where as long as there are songs, as long as we have the right to sing them, something within us will not die.
