BEZIERS
International choreographer Jean-Philippe Dury embodies artistic excellence and innovation. For a year, he has been working with the Jeune Ballet Béziers Méditerranée, who will open the evening’s dance in two parts.
– Opening act: Antidotum Tarantulae – a spellbinding creation based on Christina Pluhar’s tarantella (healing dances).
– Second part: The Elephant in the black box (A cello) – A hypnotic, visual ballet in which violin strings and bodies intertwine. On stage, the dancers move amidst wires strung with three-dimensional light and video projections.
