BEZIERS
International choreographer and former Paris Opera dancer Jean-Philippe Durry pushes the boundaries of dance, embodying artistic excellence and innovation. His year-long work with the Jeune Ballet Béziers Méditerranée will set the stage for this two-part evening.
The Jeune Ballet Béziers Méditerranée will open with “Antidotum Tarantulae”, a spellbinding creation based on Christina Pluhar’s tarantella (healing dance).
The second half features “The Elephants in the Box” company with “A Cello”, a hypnotic, visual ballet in which violin strings and bodies intertwine. The dancers evolve on stage amidst wires strung with three-dimensional light and video projections.
